What we collect when you send an enquiry, why, and how long we keep it.

Who we are

This website is run by Toucs (toucs.org), trading as Brigg Web Design, based in Worlaby, North Lincolnshire. In this note, “we” and “us” means that business.

What the enquiry form collects

When you send an enquiry we receive what you type into the form:

  • your name and email address
  • your phone number, business name and current website, if you choose to give them
  • which service you are asking about, and your message

We also record which page the form was sent from and the time it was sent, so we know what you were looking at.

Why we collect it

Only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to quote for and do the work you asked about. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use your details for marketing.

Where it is stored

Enquiries are stored on our own website platform, which we run ourselves. We do not sell your details or share them with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are deleted after 2 years at the latest. If you ask us to delete yours sooner, we will.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising cookies. Any optional cookies, such as visitor statistics, are only set if you agree to them.

Your rights, and asking us to delete your details

You can ask to see what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do that, use the enquiry form and choose “Something else”, giving the email address you used before. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
